[Good News] Wuxi Beta Approved Construction Project of Provincial Academician Workstation of Provincial Science and Technology Department and Education Department

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education issued the ''Notice of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Provincial Department of Education on Issuing the 2019 Provincial Academician Workstation Construction Project'', and the academician workstation jointly built by Wuxi Beta and Academician Zhou Yongmao was approved as a provincial academician Workstation construction project.
2015In September 1993, Academician Zhou Yongmao signed an agreement with Wuxi Beta to jointly establish an academician workstation in Jiangyin (Academician Zhou and Wuxi Beta have only built the only academician workstation licensed by the government in the country).
Academician Zhou Yongmao, currently a senior member of Zhongyuan Foreign Engineering Company.Engineer, Advisor to the Science and Technology Committee of China National Nuclear Corporation. In 1995, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Academician Zhou has been engaged in the design, research and construction of reactors and the front line of science and technology for a long time, and has completed many nuclear scientific research tasks assigned by the state; during the second venture of the nuclear industry, he led the development of civilian microreactors, which were built at home and abroad. Four, won a good international reputation and economic benefits. He has won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1985, the National Science Conference Award in 1987, the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1987, and the "Expert Certificate with Outstanding Contribution" issued by the Ministry of Personnel. On July 18, 2019, Academician Zhou was recommended by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (National Nuclear Safety Administration) as a senior member of the new National Nuclear Safety Expert Committee (only 12 academicians in the country).
Under the careful guidance of Academician Zhou Yongmao, all employees of Wuxi Beta will be committed to building the whole industrial chain of C- 14 and making unique and important contributions to human health and environmental protection with isotope labeling technology.
